Array ( [sid] => 98406 [catid] => 1 [aid] => mick [title] => Autumn season [time] => 2005-06-17 20:50:41 [hometext] => I love the fall because it gets your blood stinging in your cheeks and that lets you know you are still alive. [bodytext] => Autumn days begin to cool
Frost lies on the icy pools
Days grow short as night creeps in
Another autumn day soon goes dim
Autumn season out shines the others
The leaves are all an array of colors
Reds, gold's, rusts and browns
Many now are pilled on the ground
The trees are all stripped of there leaves
Now standing bear for all to see
The wind blows a slow cool breeze
Tickles your nose and makes you sneeze
Autumn passes winter will show
With winter brings the fluffy snow [comments] => 3 [counter] => 216 [topic] => 19 [informant] => foxfire44 [notes] => [ihome] => 0 [alanguage] => english [acomm] => 0 [haspoll] => 0 [pollID] => 0 [score] => 5 [ratings] => 1 [editpoem] => 1 [associated] => [topicname] => InspirationalPoems )

I love Autumn. The sights and sounds and smells. Watching nature bedding down for winter. The beautiful coverlet of colors she lays before the snow and ice come. Spring is nice, but autumn is the beginning of holiday time when everyone is happy and there are fairs and bonfires and hayrides. Life as I love it.

Yes, autumn is wonderful. To me its all the leaves going to heaven. And then winter classes begin to learn all about the LORD. Finally Spring hits and new life is born.

*****The trees are all stripped of there leaves
Now standing bear for all to see

The entire poem brought tears to my eyes.

Yes, sometimes wish we could shed our leaves for all to see. Be in one big nudest camp lol.

Those trees stand there naked in the wind and cold. Oh my... you really made those trees human.
