A hushed quiet permeates the place
An interlude between time and space
A chill runs down your spine
And you actually seek to find

You sense a presence around
But no tangible evidence can be found
From where does the experience originate
An almost imperceptible touch we sense
Yet an unidentifiable source

Akin to whispering in the wind
A soft voice calls to you
Suffice it to say, in your mind
It orchestrates a soft refrain of some kind
Even in a crowded atmoshpere, the silence is heard

We are reached through a different dimension
A subliminal contact is received
Only a subtle inclination is perceived
A feeling is unleashed within
And the message is conceived

Do we acknowledge the voice within
How do we interpret this experience
It has certainly triggered contemplation
Somewhere in our inner realm,
