Heart swelled at just mere thoughts
Entwined, our climax heightened
My inner secrets caught
To love you was forever,
I gave myself to thee
I was at your mercy
If only you could see,
But, you thought that you could handle
A lover on the side
I blew out all our candles
My respect for you had died
I gaze upon the mantle
At your newly widowed bride. [comments] => 7 [counter] => 556 [topic] => 43 [informant] => AliB [notes] => [ihome] => 0 [alanguage] => english [acomm] => 0 [haspoll] => 0 [pollID] => 0 [score] => 10 [ratings] => 2 [editpoem] => 1 [associated] => [topicname] => oops )

For a poem you didn't try your best at , this came out really really good.

It was a convincing piece which i'll give you credit for. Nicely done AliB.
