I was able to feel
And see what was real
I had so much friends
But when I turned 10
Those days came to an end

I always realized
That I enjoyed my life
And never thought I'd die
As i got along
With my friends who came along
But now those days are gone

Childhood life
Everything's changed

ahh how life does fly by.

I myself have found it very hard to accept those carefree days are gone...and I still wish for them more than anything, everything is so simple.

So i can very much relate to your thoughts, sad poem

I agree, I have a hard time letting go of my childhood. Nice poem.
