Array ( [sid] => 98243 [catid] => 1 [aid] => mick [title] => Max [time] => 2005-06-16 11:11:33 [hometext] => My dog Max was hit by a car and died last night. We didn't have him for very long, but we still loved him dearly. [bodytext] => It happened so fast
He didn't see it coming
There was nothing he could do
Couldn't even try running.

All he wanted was to take a little stroll
Not knowing his death was about to unfold.

I never would have guessed people can be so cruel and discreet
To kill a poor puppy and leave him on the street.

He was a sweet dog and a great friend
I wish I had known it would be the end.

I didn't get to say goodbye
Or pet him one last time
He was so very young to go
Why did he have to die? [comments] => 3 [counter] => 204 [topic] => 48 [informant] => dorkfish [notes] => [ihome] => 0 [alanguage] => english [acomm] => 0 [haspoll] => 0 [pollID] => 0 [score] => 5 [ratings] => 1 [editpoem] => 1 [associated] => [topicname] => EmotionalPoetry )

I'm sorry about your loss. I had a cat who got hit by a car and then froze to death. Again I'm sorry.

Oh my gosh honey!! That's terrible...I'm so sorry for your loss. This is such a poignant write for your furry friend...It's never easy to lose a pet; especially so unexpectedly. Take Care...*hug*

Oh gosh, I am so terribly sorry. My little furbabies are as dear to me as my children and grandchildren. They give us total unconditional love. I just do not understand how people are so cruel to animals or others for that matter. I am sorry for your pain.

Rita
