I'm so proud of it. lol Dedicated to three exceptional horses in the best movie I've seen in a long time. [bodytext] => Hasufel came when called, called by name.
Accepted his new master.
Carried him with obedience,
Carried him with strength.
Carried him to battle,
Carried him through hell.

And then he fell. Both fell.
A cliff, a river.
Wargs and riders.
Bitten, broken, torn, and drowned.

The elf, the dwarf, the men gave up.
Gave him to water,
To death,
To shadow.

But the Bay came from Arwen, from Rivendell, as Grace.
He kissed his nose,
Knelt,
And carried him once again.

Carried him to battle in the last stand at dawn.
A king upon him,
A king beside him,

A White king galloping over the horizon,
With a Wizard on his back,

First, I love horses, so that makes this a winner in my book. But then, it's also about The Lord of The Rings: The Two Towers and that was such an awesome movie. AND you managed to get Gandalf and Shadowfax into it, and Gandalf is just SO cool. I loved how you worked the different horses together and I especially love the last 2 stanzas with the stuff about the kings. This is an excellent poem.
