Please sing me to sleep
Hail while I cry
Rain while I weep
Skies they do darken
With emotion filled clouds
Oh thunderstorm
Break free and call loud
In the sky flashes
Of bright light so pure
A slice of sorrow
We’ll have to endure
Come anger from heavens
My tears you will cry
Oh thunderstorm
Please play till I die

There is a lot of feeling to this poem, and sensitive images. Very well done, and highly poetic.

Jennie, this is a beautiful poem, so full of vivid imagery, I can see the lightning and hear the thunder and the downpour. The connection between that and emotion is strongly connected and while I don't quite get the message content, I get the message powerfully. Nice vivid write.
