Array ( [sid] => 98021 [catid] => 1 [aid] => mick [title] => I Used to be The Dreamer [time] => 2005-06-14 13:30:20 [hometext] => the title may make it seem like a negative poem.. but read it.. it's surprising [bodytext] => I used to be the dreamer,
always lost in a world that was my own.
I used to be the dreamer,
never bothered to see what was always shown.
But then one day,
as I stumbled upon truth and reality.
That day I realized,
happiness isn't always beyond mortality.
I used to think
you could go anywhere when you're lost in dreams.
But then I truly saw
that nothing is truly what it seems.
There's a world,
opened up in front of my own eyes.
But I always turned to dreams,
for I thought tears and smiles were nothing but lies.
I used to be the dreamer,
but then I fell upon reality and how it is truly real.
I used to be the dreamer,
but then I saw what the world had to reveal.
The day I fell in love, I didn't even want
to dream or get lost in my world of pretend.
For that night, I thought,
"Reality is the dream that will never end."
