Array ( [sid] => 97935 [catid] => 1 [aid] => mick [title] => Christ is my Redeemer [time] => 2005-06-13 19:39:21 [hometext] => (also song lyrics) my true story of Faith.....enjoy, i hope you find inspiration in this poem [bodytext] => the past was once a problem
i'd hide from all the trouble
i'd lock myself away
in my quiet little bubble
i'd scream and spit and curse
cut and wonder why
i'd smile and laugh in everyone's face
then turn around to cry

but He knew what was going on
He healed my pain and strife
He opened His arms and gave me love
finally changed my life

just open up and give your all
let Him in your heart
His Blood will cover your sins
give you a new start
Christ is my Redeemer

The present is so different
its not the life I had
the thoughts I had dissapeared
Nothing makes me sad
Joy takes the place of pain
and Faith now fills my soul
I have finally found Redemption

Welcome home... yes, by trusting in His love is how you become a new child of His. When Jesus was sent to the cross, it was all of our sins ... those stripes.. love.. He took all of OUR sins from the past and the future... so, I am so happy that you are saved...and you are forever free... no chains tie you up... Thank you ever so much for this most beautiful poem. My heart.. warm... warm.. God is a loving God, not an angry God.. don't know why it is misunderstood that if we do a bad thing, all of a sudden He is mad.. no.. no. and no... He knows our past, He knows our future... He is Love.. Pure Gentle Love.. RL
