To believe that you really love me

To feel that the pharos of your soul

Shine their lights just for me

In your eyes I see

Projections of heaven, of an overcasting love

A beautiful, gracious destiny

You have given me back my faith

You are the undersetting for my hopes

My dreams can not take form without you

I will always treasure the shimmer

Of your wings in the

Night time sky when you

Avow to me that you are an angel

You tell me I gave you wings

But in truth you gave me mine

You are my sole religion

A church built up of stars

That brightly shine with love

For all the world to see

You are more than everything to me

You are always there for me

I will always be just for you

Is it wishful thinking?

To believe that you really love me

It is a nice loving poem, but certain sentences I don't understand. I would venture to say that English is not your native language ? Such as " My dreams can not take form with you" and what do Pharaohs have to do with her soul. I think basically the majority just did not understand the poem enough to make comments. Sadly, that is just the way it goes. Just my humble opinion. Rita
