Who is beautiful in every way.
She's average hieght, with blue-green eyes
And golden, light brown hair.
She's caring kind, sweet, loving and, innocent.
She's gorgeous, so they say
With a personality to match , the kind of girl
No guy would ever play.

But hidden by her laugh
And disguised by her smile
Lays a broken path
Covered by the rain.
And every step this girl takes
Causes one more cut of pain
And though no one would think she's vain,
In her eyes thats all she is.

Hoping someone would hear her silent plead
Hoping that someone calls
Hoping a suicide attempt would succeed
Hoping a guy would pick her up when she falls.
Sometimes she'll think she's worth it,
A second glance.
But most the time she feels she shouldn't earn
A second chance.

In her eyes she sees lies
And a movie of pure pain,
In her eyes she's a beautiful girl
Who got caught out in the rain. [comments] => 4 [counter] => 209 [topic] => 30 [informant] => xXcrossedXx [notes] => [ihome] => 0 [alanguage] => english [acomm] => 0 [haspoll] => 0 [pollID] => 0 [score] => 9 [ratings] => 2 [editpoem] => 1 [associated] => [topicname] => PoemsonBeauty )

have you ever stood in the rain, closed your eyes, looked to the sky and let the delicate raindrops fall on your eyelids?......you are pure...

Love,
Umang.

What an emotional write you've made here. The story you described was vivid, sad, and at the same time, given *that* much more depth with your use of the rain, which is a surprisingly strong element that gives the poem a better impact, if that makes sense. I'm wondering if this is autobiographical at all? Nevertheless it was an extremely moving piece, and I have to congratulate you for that!
