Always looking for more as I give this earth a stroll. Brushing by people in a crowded place, I can feel them but I never see a face. I keep my same stride walking at life’s normal pace.

My shoulder is jarred out of place, and a mysterious man clothed in black, asks if I would like to give the world a taste. Yes is my answer and the journey I begin. Soon I come to find that I’m in a loosing battle that I will never win.

I felt cheated because the world was offered to me, but the world is not enough I began to see. Every night my empty house I enter, and in my frustration I find myself loosing my temper.

Angry and out of control with no hope in sight, I find that man and kill him during the night. I see his lifeless body drop to the floor, and I escape into the black of night.

Now I live my life hidden from this earth, totally away from people, simply out of sight. As I begin to see my skin wrinkle away, I become aware of the reality of the heavy price I am about to pay. As I sit her wasting away, I torment myself wishing for my youth or for the night to go away.

Cloaked with a garment of black I see darkness coming my way. I stretch forth my hand trying to push it away, but then it engulfs me and I know it will forever stay.

My eyes begin to close and the light of my life begins to flicker. I feel cold and no longer bold, I can’t face my ending this way. I can’t fake it this time, and I can’t lie or bluff. For on my death night, I have found out that the world can never be enough.
