A walk down memory lane
on future love it puts a strain

3 a.m booty calls----
to one who wishes she never knew you at all

Wallowing in self-pity
Oh, poor YOU---it must be so ******

Here the broken record plays...
beginning to think this is NOT a faze

The only thing tied to Fate
is who's heart is made to wait

What will be will be...
those stuck in the past may never see

Past loves; never to be replaced
your poetic words come across two-faced

Awww my heart breaks---these tales of woe
stop mincing your words, and start to bestow!!

DOES THAT MAKE YOU WEAK??!??
I better shut up now, before I really speak....

OMG, I have heard this same old song and dance so many times with a love in my life. I was so stupid. It had nothing to do with love on his part. Co-dependency on mine. Girl, I hope you eventually see it and walk away too.

mmmm... k. (I've been here too long. I'm starting to see parallels!) Anyway, I can sense your frustration here which is well indicated. It's almost a slam poem even, although those are usually longer. Good write, scorp!

Great write, very well expressed, I wonder why often times the one we ache for is the one who can break the heart. Well done!

Compelling to say the least. I like it and I am sorry you are suffering so. I know first-hand what it is like.

Hugs,

Wow what a mean and a very in your face write. Its good to get these things out and sometimes people need to here this when its true in their life. Yet another good write and its good to see you get these emotions out. Take care I’ve been gone for a few days but its good to be back on and read your work. Bye for now….Steve

A provacative write that seems to exprees the uncertainty of remaining is such a painful relationship. Sounds like there is a real need to be candid and let loose with how you feel. Ah, but sometimes we worry if the other party can tolorate our candor. So we treat them as though they are fragil....the status quo....

A very difficult situation, one many can relate to. Thanks for sharing

Will

Bitter perhaps, but interesting and thought provoking nonetheless.
I like the style of delivery here.I guess sometimes when we walk down memory lane the sun is shining and all is wonderful, other times it is pouring with rain and all we can think about are the darker times
Well done

Steve

i love the saying, "cry me a river, build a bridge, and jump off of it" =] excellent show of feeling, scorpaporpa (that is my favorite nicname to call you if you havent noticed =]) i liked the beginning line and how the ending line ties in to it. your rhymes are on target, you know that capitalization is very good in moderation, you censor your own poems, theres a point, gets across emotion, and written well. you say you are not so great, and i can only disagree. oh yes, how can i forget originality?
