A plain, old cardboard box.
But that's not what I see.
I see a box full of you.
A box full of us.
All my memories, all my love.

Our first kiss is in that box
It's a glass pepsi bottle.

Our first date is there too:
A pair of movie tickets

The first time you told me you loved me.
That's that silver ring.

Even our first real fight is there.
It's your sweatshirt.

My hopes and dreams and everything in between
Are letters and secret notes.

But what represents what tore us apart
Is the one thing I still need.
It's my heart, though, it's no use now.
It's shattered shards fill that box,
That box full of you, of us,
That box by the curb. [comments] => 9 [counter] => 220 [topic] => 22 [informant] => brokenbutterfly [notes] => [ihome] => 0 [alanguage] => english [acomm] => 0 [haspoll] => 0 [pollID] => 0 [score] => 29 [ratings] => 6 [editpoem] => 1 [associated] => [topicname] => LostLove )

Brokenbutterfly

Sad,angry,filled with pain.
Beautifuly done with your pen
I know of some pain you went through
A girl I loved pure and true
Her love and heart I couldn't unlock
At a cold curb I sat in a box
Nothing,but trash
One true lover cannot last

Please write more
Sinned

Wow, that was great. I have a friend who this poem would REALLY apply to. I too kept a box of stuff from my ex boyfriend. Great job and for being 15 you have a wise mind and very good expression.
