Let us share a dream
Let our heads rest
On each others shoulder
With whispers in between
Let the bed spread
Crumple beneath us
As pillows fall to the floor

It’s not too late at night
Take a cab
I’ll pay the cost
I can explain it to your boss
You needed to be late
You were in my arms
Barely awake
Engrossed in the movement
The position
How the body vibrates
Afterwards shakes

Come sleep with me
Tomorrow we can forget
How the two of us were brought here
How the night led to today
Rest your tired legs
Comfortable in my bed
Sleep till you awake
Dream until you are dead

Hard to believe no one else has commented. The last line is sort of a shocker. heh. Nice work!

Good god, this was AMAZING! I LOVE this!! Such elegant flow, such simple expressions, yet, such profoundity! A romantic read, delightful to the eyes, and candy sweet to the soul. Divine, my friend. Gorgeous. Do write again! This was completely enchanting. The ending just wrapped it all up in a pretty crimson bow! Thanks so much for sharing this flawless masterpiece with us. All my love. Forever,

Your new friend/fan,

Stephy! *still quite entranced by it all.... beautiful*

*sigh* This one left me warm and fuzzy inside. Awww...or was it hot and bothered? It varies each time I read this one. *smirk* Damn awesome writing. Thank you.
