ive looked everywhere and im becoming frightened
please help me i cant function without myself ever
do you know where shes at please tell me now
i need myself back im in search of myself

i woke up this morning i couldnt think i knew she was gone
there was no sunshine it was all dark i need her back
the world stopped when she left i have to find her
i am not who i was without her she balances me
i need myself back im in seach of myself

the world ceases to be when depression hits your life
you become different from others they in turn become strangers
this fuels the depression making you become isolated
the world seems to close in on you so alone
i need myself back im in search on myself

few people want to deal with depression it bothers them
many feel the depressed just needs to pull themselves together
but it dont work that way its a chemical imbalance
one that leaves us completely immobile and helpless

first of all - punctuatoin is a must! i felt myself getting lost in the poem not knowing whether one sentence ended or began or continued. second, i think you floated away from the topic towards the end when you talk about the depression.
(and now for the good =D )
i really liked the idea of this topic. i think it was creative and it exspressed alot of emotion so good job. =)

The one who searches finds nothing

that is a zen koan.....hopefully it will help ease your mind

also...thinking is what seperates us from ourselves
