At the time my way of dealing with it was writing poetry about her and the way I was feeling. Poetry kept me sane. I have not written in years and this site is a great way for me to reconnect. [bodytext] => She left so young, so sweet, so loved.
She fought her battle, but could not win.
She never complained or felt cheated.
We could see the pain in her eyes, but she was always brave.
The time had come, we knew it was true.
We stood by her side and said our goodbyes.
Sometimes things happen that we cannot control.
She loved us very much, we were very grateful.
She is my hero and I love her dearly.
I know she up there and she sees us all.
I bet she's proud, I bet she's grateful. [comments] => 5 [counter] => 227 [topic] => 39 [informant] => dorkfish [notes] => [ihome] => 0 [alanguage] => english [acomm] => 0 [haspoll] => 0 [pollID] => 0 [score] => 10 [ratings] => 2 [editpoem] => 1 [associated] => [topicname] => Grief )

So young to lose your mother. You have my deepest sympathy. Writing is an excellent outlet for grief and pain (heck just read some of mine) lil' lol But keep writing, as we get older, the pain gets harder to bear, and writing and connecting with fellow poets of anguish is a great remedy to darkened days. My prayers go out to you. Angel always...godspeed...joni
