From the day we set forth on this land,
A curse grew,
Feeding off the hatred of others.

You think that people would learn,
That blood only leads to more blood,
Revenge only leads to pain and suffering,
People die everyday.

God won't let this world stand much longer,
For his tears have created oceans,
The ground is blood drenched from the killing,
And I can't stand the pain.

My eyes sting from the tears,
That I cry every night,
What would happen if everyone could just control themselves,
It may sound stupid,
It may sound crazy,
But this world can't live this way any more.

There is so much hurt,
People can't leave their houses without feeling it,
Races are being singled out,
As if they were different from anybody else,
Why would anyone want to hurt someone that badly?

Where is the love?
Where is the kiss that brings the world back,
Where is the day that everything will be ok?
Where is the moment that makes the world alive again?
Why can't we all just stop... [comments] => 2 [counter] => 165 [topic] => 21 [informant] => Karlee14 [notes] => [ihome] => 0 [alanguage] => english [acomm] => 0 [haspoll] => 0 [pollID] => 0 [score] => 3 [ratings] => 1 [editpoem] => 1 [associated] => [topicname] => Lifepoems )

Great write. If there is a solution to the questions you ask, it is not in mans nature to find it. I know exactly how you feel. Excellent.

Yes this does make one think.
"Donot worry these things must come to pass---then the end"
There is one of Christanities oldest prayers.
In protestant books it is no longer there.
Taken out in 1854 it didn't fit in with their Revlations.
"Glory Be"

Glory be to the Father
Glory be to the Son
Glory be to the Holy Spirit
World without end
Amen

One must understand history along with religon to know the true Church. History is "HIS-Story

Good poem
