Array ( [sid] => 97263 [catid] => 1 [aid] => mick [title] => Endless Road [time] => 2005-06-08 01:36:26 [hometext] => As I prepare to pack up what I have to drive the west coast I wrote this in a 'burning of the past/escape from the present' mind-set. In reality I'm not feeling so dark. As you can see by past submissions it's been nearly a year since I've written poetry. [bodytext] =>
Three more sorrows till you shatter
Idly waiting as devoured
You can drive away the ache
Fall upon the endless road

Burn the nest up in vehemence
Clamp the wheel; seek your truth
Blind yourself to inhibitions
Never stop and never slow

Seek a haven on the souls coast
Let the ocean seep through you
Drown the memories abandoned
Drown the memories of you

Sorry to see a great piece like this on the least read list. This was truely sad and beautiful at the same time. The last stanza was grand......
Seek a haven on the souls coast
Let the ocean seep through you
Drown the memories abandoned
Drown the memories of you.....
Awesome. Peace to you, Laura
