I followed you here after the party broke

I watched you dancing
I stared at your ruby red lips as you spoke

If I startled you, I apologize
It’s not like me to let a precious jewel slip by

I just wanted to tell you, in words I haven’t yet found
That this miracle I feel, is not just my silly imagination messing around

Climatically erupting
I recall you from a long lost dream

I imagine you are even lovelier
As the morning sun breaks on the sheets draped over you

I want you to see me
Look into my eyes and dare call me a liar

If you believe me this once
I will cherish you forevermore, if you so desire

Hey Cinderella
I followed you here after the party broke

It was simple, but somewhat powerful, because it gives you a warm fuzzy feeling on the inside and who doesn't like that.
