underneath the warming sun
I sat wishing for my Fairy friends
to simply drop by and see me.

Smiling Pansy faces of Apricot and Burgundy
Bright Rouge and Yellow Begonias
planted ever so neatly
Each in their own pot or planter along the deck wall.
Multi colored Snap Dragons and Bright Blue and white Bachelor Buttons
Mixed Disco Marigolds both short and tall
Emerald green and white veined Ivy
Climb up the wall.

The backdrop are the Skies and three Elder Trees
Tall and leaves full that have grown through the years.
They started ,of course , as small,
little,
unnoticeable weeds.
Allowing the Sunny rays through
and giving us shade at High Noon
Framing my backyard perfectly.

The Fairy Queen has sent her messagers
To fly on ahead to check and see
Making sure all the Fairy Charms and Gadgets
And Pin Wheels are all in their place.

The many colored revolving Wheels
Catching brother Wind
making them spin.
Their arms begin spinning fast
And with his mighty breath,
Brother Wind makes the Wind Wheels Spin Fast
Then faster and faster
Silently, Easily Magically Calling them In.

Sending Musicial sounds to the Fairies
Assuring them
That its safe and I am alone
No fear about Visiting here.

Uniquely crafted Done over the long winter months
In the small spaces within each flowered pot

I've left these tiny fanciful Fairy gifts
Just to say Thanks
For those Fairy Tales they whisper
On my Gloomy and trying days
When I wonder out to be comforted by imiganation
Fantasy and Sunshine ,Flowers and Dreams.

Brought about by them.

oh Whisper how very Fairy Enchanting. Beautiful images I saw in my mind's eye, and since we don't have summer here, I could even see the sun shine through your trees, and on your deck.
What lovely imagery you created, Whisper, and a quiet longing of wanting to be there!
Thank you so much for nice comment on my Noah Poem. I can never see Fairies, but I love to speak for the critters. I'm glad you can see Fairies, maybe some day I will be able to see them too!
Warm lo ve
