I let things go in one ear and out the other,
They tell don't say a thing,
You will be mad and go insane,
I keep silent and hold it all in and yell and scream at another,
Oh do I hate sometimes his dear old mother,
I do my best, I say the right thing, I take her out and buy her nice things,
I shut my mouth, I close my ears,
But tired of living like this year after year.
But I Love her.
I love her deeply with in my heart,
I never really want to part.
I don't want anything to happen to her,
She really is my friend,
Untill another day begins.
Don't tell me what to do,
I am a grown woman,
Don't speak that way to the kids,
Oh you hateful woman.
I want to explode,
I want to let it all out,
But hush now don't ever shout.
She will get mad.
She will lose her top,
She won't even agree.
Might as well give up.
The sun rose up in the sky,
Dinner was cooked and she was invited,
Didn't eat one thing,
Except for her precious son, her darling.
I got mad,
I stood my ground,
I left the home,
Went into town.
The next morning,
The very next day,
I gave her a call,
This is what I had to say.
You hurt my feelings,
You didn't eat a thing,
I invited you over before,
You done the same thing.
She denied her ways,
She made excuses,
She told me off,
How can she do.
How can she hurt me,
Why does she act like this.
She hung up on me.
This wasn't my wish.
Now she is mad,
I am only a fool,
I started this gripe,
They said not to. [comments] => 2 [counter] => 175 [topic] => 6 [informant] => shedblood2005 [notes] => [ihome] => 0 [alanguage] => english [acomm] => 0 [haspoll] => 0 [pollID] => 0 [score] => 0 [ratings] => 0 [editpoem] => 0 [associated] => [topicname] => AngryPoetry )
