We all thrive off of what we don't have
We try and make do with our time
We try and live our lives the best we can
Sometimes things come our way
And we confront our suburbian fears
Sometimes change comes in many ways
The same change that keeps us staying here

Don't look back in the long run
It just makes you slow down more and more
Try not to get caught up
In the little things in life that always appear

We all live in a small town
Changing lanes down 2 way streets
We stop and go with so much caution
We break yield until we've fallin asleep
Feeling free in the back seat
Letting lose all of your desires
In this little small town
Where we're known for big camp fires

Don't look back in the long run
It just makes you slow down more and more
Try not to get caught up
In the little things in life that always appear

We live and die in this small town
Six feet under and six feet above ground
Taller trees the scenary blinding
Let loose and believe in absolutly nothing
Can't be forced in this small town
Can't be outrunned by these doughnut cops
Little cafe where it all goes down
Where the time just hasn't got the time to watch

Don't look back in the long run
It just makes you slow down more and more
Try not to get caught up
