It's hard to reason with a monkey.
He jabbers away and never listens.
He stands on his head,
And dances in circles.
I can't reason with monkeys.

Sometiems I wonder why I try.

Short, but smart and amusing. Unfortunately there are a lot of monkeys in the world. If only there were a zoo big enough to house them all...

I like the coldly humorous way that you made a jab at people who think they know and have it all, reminds me of how the "popular" people acted in high school. You gotta think though, thge average person is pretty stupid, and half the population is more stupid than that.

I have a coffee mug with a picture of a bunch of turkeys and the saying "Don't Let the Turkeys Get You Down" ... it's hard to reason with a turkey too! :)))) cute poem
