Unfamiliar Faces

Contributed by twisted_dreams on Wednesday, 1st June 2005 @ 06:57:01 PM in AEST
Topic: EmotionalPoetry

I look at the people
that i thought i once knew
but something is different
between me and you

we used to be so close
but now so far apart
i try to see what's happening
by looking deep inside my heart

i just dont understand
why this isn't right
i try to see the real you
while blocking out the light

I've looked at you all
and seen what's gone down
and i try to smile quickly
before i turns into a frown..

i wish it was the same
exactly like it used to be
we would all be the same
together they would see

but i know that won't happen
because of the changes we've went through
i wish i knew those faces
and all that came with them too!

This is a really awesome poem, it's really sad but it's still awesomely written, and I think it might be one of if not your your best... but I really do hope you talk to broken_hearted09, maybe something could change, spill your heart to her and see what magic could happen... good luck, and good write. l8erz
