These chains that bind
My hindered mind
Scratch and tear and shred.
I used to know
What high and low
Was dancing in my head.
Escape I try,
But by and by
The pieces fall behind.

But chains are all I find.

this poem shows increadible writing tallent. in style and content it reminds me of songs by Lifehouse, but it is a unique voice. I enjoyed this so much i had to read it 3 times.

Thank you! It happens to be one of my favorites among all the poetry I've written. I wish more than 3 per day could be posted here, as I have a slew of others I'd like to get reactions to. I just found this site a few days ago and really like the ease with which you can share and read poetry with any number of people.

Your "The Threshold of Forever" is another of yours I liked. You end your poems well. Again, thank you very much for your comments!
