thinking of so much with lil to do
then my friend called to say
that our prayers were coming true
my heart sank deep into my chest
so many nights we prayed for the best
and every letter this soldier sent home
told her she was not alone
and he's coming home

we made so many plans
we laughed, we cried,
her soldier was coming home,
then tears filled our eyes for all the soldiers not coming home
and we knew it was all in Gods hands
she wipped a tear from her eye
held my hand and we did cry
for all the soldiers that would never come home
and for the ones who will...

Fortunately some soldiers do return, yet too many fall.
War is cruel and can only leave scars, both on those that have to fight and those who's loved ones will never return.

A very good dedication to all of thos who have fallen, I think that this should be read by all who have a soldier who is away fro home and let them know that that there are others out there that are think of them as well. God be prased for sending them home and prayers for thos who did not. God bless.
