I am a sheperd
I look after my heard
I lead them through the deserts
To the forest and pastures
If one of them looses the way
I try to find him all day
When i find the missing one
I love him more than anyone
from my little heard
And i take him with me without a word
Then i lead him to the right way
Without him going astray
To the valley where the grass is green

Is this about the Shepherd of Life, Jesus?

Listen to what He said about Himself...

"I am the Good Shepherd. The good shepherd lays down his life for the sheep. I know my sheep and my sheep know me - just as the Father knows me and I know the Father. I call my sheep by name and lead them out. When I have brought out all my own, I go on ahead of them, and my sheep follow me because they know my voice. But they will never follow a stranger; in fact, they will run away from him because they do not recognize a strangers voice." (John 10)

A thousand years before He said those words on earth, David wrote a poem about Him...

The Lord is my Shepherd,
I shall not be in want.
He makes me lie down in green pastures,
And leads me beside still waters.
He restores my soul.
He leads me in the paths of righteousness,
For His Names sake.
Even when I walk
In the valley of the shadow of death,
I will fear no evil,
For You are with me.
Your rod and your staff,
They comfort me.
You prepare a table for me
Even in the presence of my enemies,
And you annoint my head with oil
My cup overflows.
Surely goodness and loving kindness will follow me all the days of my life,
And I will dwell in the house of the Lord forever.

That is the peace of the Shepherds leading, and you captured something very similar in your poem. Great job!

Peace be with you,
Joshua
