Your smile is like the sun, there to brighten up my day
Gazing deeply into your eyes, all my troubles fade away
I search for your voice, listening in the crowds
Finally when I hear it, my heart is lifted to the clouds
Up in the sky and high above the land
You make your way over to me and I casually hold your hand
Walking around, hand in hand, a giant smile on my face
I want to reach my arms around you, holding you in a deep embrace
When youre next to me, I can feel your heart beat
The closer we get, the more I feel, feel that my life is complete
You know my past, and you know my pain
But with you at my side, Ill never feel the same
Youve shown me care, and Ill show you mine
Every moment with you is a new passage in time
And each moment Ive cherished, from the moment weve met
Never in my life will I ever forget
Forget the moments youve been by my side
I can smile forever, no more will I hide
For Ive been sad and lost all these years
Crying inside with all these painful tears
But you have dried my eyes, and my soul now sings
Forever and a day will my heart continue to ring
You make me happy so constantly
So heres my promise to you, my legacy
When youre cold, Ill warm you up
When youre thirsty, Ill bring you a cup
When youre bored, well play a game
When youre hurt, Ill kiss away your pain
When you cry, Ill dry your tears
When youre scared, Ill quell your fears
When youre sad, Ill make you smile
And when youre lonely, Ill hold you for a while
Hopefully now you can clearly see
How much you truly mean to me
For there is nothing anyone can do
To keep me from loving you
