all throughout the final journey

So when tempted lust seduce me
and in evil paths I stray,
let your goodness never fail me..
lead me in the perfect way.

In my final pain and anguish

suffer not my heart to languish..
suffer not my soul to fear.

And when my life has finally ended,
lay me in your arms to rest
'till when surrounded by the angels
I'll awake among the blest.

Billy, this is so very beautiful. He will never forsake you. He is with us every second of our lives. He lives in each and every one of us. I feel almost like I just read eulogy and it is rather disconcerting. Death is not to be feared. It is just a step to the next life. You are so amazingly talented. Thank you for sharing it with us again.

Rita

Dear Mr. High,

first i would like to say welcome back. after reading your last post, "farewell", i was afraid that i wouldn't have the pleasure of reading any more of your work.

next, i would like to tell you that i hope you have no plans to leave this world.

that being said, this post was among the finest i've read, on this site and elswhere. your words flow like a gentle stream.

please continue to frequent this site.

thank you,

wizard

Before I commented, I had to rate this a 5... this was awesome. I've been
losing my religion (that's a song title haha), but knowing where you are
when you write this, still makes me be open to this... the pain and anguish
is so real, and yet the mercy is so cleansing and gorgeous... you sucked
me into this poem in the first 2 lines... you mixed words together masterfully...

Wonderful!

~Kara

Oh BILLY!! This is so serenely beautiful!

The last stanza is exceptionally tender and angelic.
I think you have captured a lovely, soft prayer here that
many would claim for their own. A gentle desire
and need to be forgiven, loved and accepted ..

Stunning emotion captured here, sweets~

eternally,

~Breezy
