He risked his life everyday for me and all of you. So much loss here in Iraq and he will be missed. Just one of a few I now miss and they will always live on....Steve [bodytext] =>
Roses are red
From the blood that was shed
As they lay on the graves
Of those that are dead
Their thorns will cut me
And with pain will I bleed
For my life and my love
Were taken from me

Roses, Roses
I’ll continue to cry
Whenever I see them
My heart will die
Roses, Roses
That kiss my lips
When I smell their sweet sent
A life will be missed

i'm so sorry about your friend. unfortunate as it is, death is one of the best reasons to write poetry. here you've given a great example. i hope letting out some of your pain has helped you to grieve. good luck.
