Array ( [sid] => 96068 [catid] => 1 [aid] => mick [title] => To My Daughter [time] => 2005-05-28 12:24:48 [hometext] => I’m in Iraq and I’ve never seen my new little girl so I wrote this so she will know she was loved. Please Comment it made tears come to my eyes….Steve [bodytext] => Mt beautiful Madison
My addition to life
It is in your life
I take so much pride
For I’m lost in your eyes
With a powerful pride
That I’ll never hide
For you are my daughter
My flesh and my blood
And I thank the Lord
For send me you to love
We have not met
But it is you I adore
My beautiful girl
My life is yours
For in your future
Present and past
My love will be with you
And it will forever last
For soon we will join
And be together as one
With you in my life
I promise I’ll never run
With me as your dad
I’ll have so much pride
I’ll love you unconditionally
For the rest of your life

I Love You My Madison
And Daddy Will See You Soon

~Steve~

Awww Steve, this was beautiful! Really well written, loving poem. Being very much a Daddy's girl myself, I'm happy for you, and am sure little Madison will grow up to cherish her Daddy very much! Take Care,
Scorp.

Such a beautiful declaration of love to your daughter, Steve. Trust me, you will be her hero all her life. Just as you are, and all your comrades over there fighting. I wish you a speedy journey home to Madison and all of us. Rita

Children they are so great. Being a father or a mother is no easy job but it is also one of the most rewarding jobs you'll ever have. Hopefully soon you will be able to hold her in your arms and she will bring you lots of joy. Stay safe.
