He thought as he awoke with a loud yawn.
Married for five years
Plauged with countless and seemingly endless tears.

Love once filled with kindness
Has been covered with total blindness
She felt he no longer valued her beautiful soul
Pleasing her was no longer his goal.

He drove to a store
Slamming his car door
Speeding with anger
He was in trouble of great danger

The light turned red
and quickly he was....... well, he was dead
The police rushed to the scene, and it started to rain
The other driver was at a loss for words as he tried to explain

Back at his house
It was quieter than a mouse
His wife heard the alarm go off
As she woke up with a violent cough

She went downstairs to the kitchen and saw a note
It was something the husband had wrote
She read it slowly in her mind, "Went to the store, I love you"
Her feelings suddenly turned blue

There was a knock at the door
Like a loud thunderous roar
She was told the news
As she fell, from off her shoes

The officer handed her what he had found, it was a fake flower and a card
It was bloody and scarred
She read it outloud, "I will love you until the day this flower dies"
She nelt down and prayed... saying her final goodbyes.

This poem is so amazing! So wonderfully amazing! The idea of eternal love through a flower that can never die is....there is no word.
