The world's afire
Poets have nothing to say
Clarity has broken the night
Tomorrow lives today

From the shadows, it came
On long forgotten wings
Silence binding them together
In the everything

The sky was theirs, hearts
Bursting free to ride the wind
As heaven opened itself up
She handed it to him

And he... only had to see her
And she... could barely breathe

Poetry passed between them

True friendship comes when silence between two people is comfortable.
--Dave Tyson Gentry

"Friendship needs no words..."
-- Dag Hammarskjold.

What is a friend? A single soul dwelling in two bodies. -- Aristotle

Besides beautiful ... what more can I say ?

Poetry does not need words and love is poetry. I go with Scott's quotes. Very apropos.

I have to say I'm a little envious...

I wish I could write like this.

Your words are always so full of feeling Snemmy. The last 4 lines really hit me. I have feeling I know what this is about, but I will not say more on it.

Great write sweetie,
*hugs* Phil xxx

Well, I understand Phill's bit of envy. Aye, and almost feel it myself.

This is breathtaking, and in an astonishingly simple way. The brevity, the simple eloquence... such is why I write, such is what I am always trying for. Bravo! I can say little more.

for it is a simple reminder that love is poetry in motion...and that finding love leaves us speachless.

So ....so.......true. Nice to see some can find words. Those are what hits the soul and the most inner feelings, of all the emotions. Very beautiful write. Lovely.
