It gives us tears and chills,
but it kills our spirit and
destroys our souls with a bloodlust
and agony unlike any other.
Though the pain,
we can not see,
what our actions do,
what they do to those around us.
We only feel and need,
we need to end the pain.
The suffering and the torture,
but in the end it only causes
more pain and suffering.
Can't they see?
It's the death and the end
that hurts the most,
not the agony of life,
but the burning fear of death
that causes us to harm ourselves
and punish those around us.
God Forgive the Weary and Bless the Living.
Hold those you love close
and follow you emotions for
in a blink of an eye they can be gone
and you will then be alone with
your fear, sadness and emotion.
Emotion to strong to hold alone.
Protect them, love them, cherish them
and keep them close to you at all times,
never let them go...
For if you do,
You can lose more then you bargained for.

Dedicated to the memory of John Fanning,
Friend, husband and so much more to so many people.
Died 05/26/05
We will miss you and forever love you.

My heart hurts from reading this, I am sorry for your loss and the pain you are now left with. this poem was so... heart wrenching and tear jerking that words could not express the readers feelings about it ( I am sorry but you wil have many readers but few comments and words of encoragment, not many people now how to.) I will pray for you to be able to cope with his loss, in time your wounds will heal (but the scars will remane, sorry). Please dont think on these things and please dont take your own life, you know whast it feels like to be the one who is left. If you need to talk we are all here for you and will always be. Be well
