These are the things that I behold every day.
They are a reflection of what is on the inside.
The great chasm is empty,
Only being filled by the
Echo of what once was.

My life is meaningless;
Lax of purpose.
Death is not even a welcome to what I am.
It is not even another continuation!
It is only the same madness of what is already transpiring!

Oh, but insanity!
Sweet savior, insanity!
Bring to me your wisdom!
Your beacon of truth!
Lift me up from this droll existence
Known as life!

You are my savior now;
My Christ; my King…
I devote my life to thee.

i liked the use of what i found to be colorblindness in the first stanza... it really set the mood for the rest of the poem and kept my attention which is an accomplishment in its own right lol... keep up the good work

The intensity of this poem is moving to say the least. The fact that you chose to take a spiritual route for fullfilment shows a strong mind. Maybe it is his way of leading you there to him. This is very very good.
