Extinguishing Breath

Tonight justification takes its toll
And cuts the night's black silence.
All my love's run out on me
And it's starting to get a little too real.
I can no longer pretend it's alright.
My candle's gone out...
I can't believe this nightmare's come true.
Tears of loss burn my cheeks
and sobs wrench at my heart you gave back
Bleeding.
Perfection is always flawed.

Wow, I can't say how much I liked this poem nor how many memories it brought back. The last 4 lines really stuck out a lot. Keep up these poems!
