Bent over and old
But deeply she believed
Everything had a story to be told

From the tall oak tree
In the yard out back
To the buttercup
That bloomed near the railroad track

She spoke to rocks
Or the butterfly
Each a story told her
Some meek some bolder

Her understanding of life
Was stronger than most
Wise she knew we could
Learn from talking to even a fence post

The children flocked
To her house
To hear the story of sister tree
Or maybe Uncle Amos mouse

She spoke with them
About wonders she heard
From the world around
She shared the word

I'll bet people that she was off her Rocky!!!
This Granny must have been the most happy person in all the world. To be able to talk to anything, to bring it alive, to nouriish it, and love it, and make a friend. Just think how loving that must have made her, for everything around here she liked and everytime she loved it she loved herself too.
No wonder the little kids flocked to her door. Little children love stories, especially if they are loving, kind, and teach a story.
This is a wonderful Poem Shari dear.
I'll be anxious to hear the rest of this funny and strange(in this world of no emotion) little grannies stories in the future. What a wonderful imagination she had!!!
Warm love
consue
