shaping, natural bodies into unnatural
positions. Primary colors radiate points
of contact. Limbs touch. Slide. Fall. As
the masters of wind play tag with tornados.

A dog questions his purpose of the
moon. Howling queries of reason,
rhymes of passion, notes of interest for
a failing economy, and wondering aloud,
when all is said and done, what's it worth.

And air is everything. Water, born of air.
Fire, breathing air. Earth alive, because
of air. And air pulls the dogs words into
the funnel of the twister, amplifying the sound
casting it into the heavens for God to ponder.

As children, bent and folded
All fall down

Rather interesting??? This is THE best form of ramblings I've ever seen! (And with only a few phrases... you have so much talent, douce Scott.) Exquisite images flowing back and forth through my mind, the shapes becoming more and more distorted and more beautiful with each line... My eyes are dancing over your words for the third time, and still, I don't think my paltry words will ever elegantly praise such a flawless piece. As always, your writing never fails to enchant, beguil, provoke thought and inspiration. LOVE this piece, cheri!! Merci beaucoup for sharing a glimpse of your soul with us! All my love. Forever,

Your dear friend,

Stephy! *who's going to read this again!!*

Naz

You are a master at hidden meaning. So I am not sure. There seems to be a progression: children playing, a dog howling who becomes someone questioning there role and finances, to the essence of survival for all...air. Then, "God to ponder" ....the source of it all, which ultimately is what matters

Don't know, but that's what I come up with, and I feel i'm missing something

Good challange my friend

Will

Funny, I was just thinking a while ago it has been some time since I'd seen a poem from you. Tying these three subjects in like this is a stroke of genius. And the four elements to boot! Nice work, Nazzy!

Why is it questions almost always breed more questions???

stands and claps while pondering the questions....

Very interesting. Children play, dogs howl, life goes on, and God watches all from above. Now please tell me what I missed here. : )
