Lost the memory of the shape of your smile
And the grin you would show
When I’d done something crazy
It was there in my head and I didn’t see it go

Can’t recall the tone in your voice
The soft lilt to your words
Or your warm hope filled eyes
That I stored like old toys in the cupboard

Struggling hard to remember
All the things we would say
And how we would laugh…
Figured those days would never fade away

I’ve got the photos of you somewhere
I’ll have to dig them out
But what if I forget they’re there?
When did I learn to do without?

Hmm, the ending seemed to make this really good, I like the questions, and the openess of it all...it kinda makes it powerful in its own unique way..Nicely done,

Very nice. It has a "tender" kind of feel to it; as if you don't know if its a good or bad thing that you've forgotten. (^_^)b
