Array ( [sid] => 95409 [catid] => 1 [aid] => mick [title] => I Am So Tired! [time] => 2005-05-22 23:27:49 [hometext] => I have fribromyalga, causing some days allot of pain, this day was a real bad day !!!!! ( comments on the poem ?) [bodytext] => Tired, please wake me up,
Walking in such a daze,
Foggy mind, always unclear

It is the pills I take
They kill the pain
Take the pill, no pain

No pill, lots of pain, unbearable at times
But they make me so foggy
Unclear, dazed, weird

What to do?
Why must it be so?
Is there another answer?

If there was another way
I would surely go that way
Stay away from the pain pills that
Clog my mind so much from day to day.
I am just so tired from them as well.
I want to sleep so much,
It just isn’t fair

I ask, why me?
There is no one there to answer
So I just can’t seem to get away

Away from the pain;
Away from the pain pills.
Either way I am not myself.

Just so tired, I am!!!

I am so sorry you have to go through this. Have you tried the Fentanyl Patch (Duragesic). A friend uses it and says he has less lethargy with it than the extended release pill they had him on. I know it is debilitating and irritating. It is just one day at a time.

I have never heard of this sickness and I have no answer.
I thought this poem was rather simple, but how can one think under your circumstances.
I offer today you my prayers.
He hears our every moan and groan.
Even Jesus in the garden ask "Father" take away this cup--Thy will be done.
In suffering we share His cross.
I will pray He gives you relief rest and His peace.

God bless you

Sinned
