Lies two opposing forces.
Both lurking silently in the moonlight,
Peering into an obscure background.
Watching, breathing, concentrating.
The pursuit has been found.
Concealed within the foliage of the woodlands,
The hunter is perched high above.
Now with the task which rests at hand.
Wait calmly for a cleaner shot,
or take her now?
The excitement of the hunt,
Preying on the flesh of another,
He decideds to wait.
And the other, will she prevail
in her fight for life,
Or succom to the hands
of the mighty hunter?
Which one will hold strong their desire?
The hunter
or the hunted? [comments] => 2 [counter] => 255 [topic] => 25 [informant] => Jessi_Cheatham [notes] => [ihome] => 0 [alanguage] => english [acomm] => 0 [haspoll] => 0 [pollID] => 0 [score] => 6 [ratings] => 2 [editpoem] => 1 [associated] => [topicname] => MiscPoems )
