To walk in out of nowhere In days and weeks and months But I never dreamed of this I planned to take my sweet time Before falling again There are things I need to tell you About why I decided to keep to myself I walked away when things got rough Let's just say I couldn't keep my hands to myself I don't think I have it in me To be the person I've always wished I could be And I don't want to let you down 'Cause I mean it when I say you're really something There's nothing lacking in the air Around us, it's alive with something I can't name But I just cannot trust myself Could you help me be that person I want to be?
