A treasure box of memories to last
Lotus blossoms reaching the light
A sense of clarity feelings contrite

Feeling his presence she is aware
Of a sweet aroma drifting through air
Petals fall but memories wont fade
A single tear a single rose displayed

Each petal is worth its weight in gold
To have and to hold a lovers tale told
Angels tread where lovers once dared
Petals of love that once was shared

Short and sweet, perhaps like the life of a rose itself.
Good work

Memories of endearing!!This was absolutely beautiful.........I remember finding one red rose in my teasure of books. It was from my oldest daughter who graduated cum laude
and she came over during the ceremony and gave me a rose.....and said, "Mom, Dad would be so proud of you for the way you raised we kids!" Of course I cried right there in front of God and everyone else!
Your depiction of memories will be one I shall never forget
Beautiful work I give you a 5 hands down!
Warm love
consue
And thank you too for all you wonderful comments

You captured the memory well in your verse and the reminder of past love shone throughout your poem.

Absolutely wonderful - a treasure box of memories. Too often in moments of anger, we tend to throw such treasures from the past away. I have very little left from my ex, but now I wish I did to hand down to my daughter.
Excellent write!
