Mommy Misses Daddy

Contributed by Distance on Friday, 20th May 2005 @ 03:25:17 PM in AEST
Topic: LostLove

A long time ago I met the most perfect person.
So much like me it was unreal
The Anger
The Pain
The Passion
We were inseparable for so long
And then things decided to change
Without warning
Without us knowing
Without us wanting
We began fighting everyday
As if we were trying to hurt one another intentionally
In reality
I would rather die then to know how much I have hurt him
I never meant to
I thought it was a game
You hurt me I hurt you right back, right?
Now I realized it never was a game it was
Life
Reality
And painful
I would give anything to take those games back
Ill hide them in my soul forever now
Knowing our game is what
Killed
Destroyed
And demolished us
Our love if forever gone and I miss it.
Baby boy
Jellybean
Shaddix
Our son misses his father
As do I
One month, one month old
How do I make it on my own.
Mommy misses Daddy.

this is a very differnt poem that for some as young as me might not understand. My life has kinda been like this so far except I was the one who was a month old...in reality 13. I loved your poem because of the trueness and the emotion. Tuis came from your heart and anything that comes from a persons heart is amazing...Please keep writing!
