Life isn't something you can touch, hear, or see
Life is a cheerful hello and a tearful goodbye
Life is the soul behind your minds eye
Life is but death waiting to happen
Life is what's sucked out of me when my heart starts to blacken
Life is an experience; though frugal and short....
Life is full of mysteries waiting for you to sort
Life is what we breathe into a story or a write
Life is way too short to ponder what it is like!!

Life is all those those thing. The good, the bad, the ugly. But we have the will to choose which we choose to live with. Life is not perfect, by any means, but it is certainly better than the alternative. I like this, Scorp.

Oh i like this. It could be snipped here and there but i think that what makes it a good poem. It has honesty and truth to it which sometimes poetry lacks.

Well done on an excellent poem.

Quite often I find myself asking that same ol' cliche' of a question, "What is life?" and find myself pondering answers. I simply adore your answer here. Wonderfully expressed and wonderfully written. Thank you for the advice. Thank you for being a great poet. Thank you for being you.
