50TH REUNION

50TH REUNION

FROM 1955 TO 2005

From saddle shoes to slippers,
Teenage nippers to apple ciders
Unchanged, marriage arranged,
Exchanged, deranged, estranged!

To score, to bore to snore.
Sex galore to Viagra from a drugstore.
"T" string Bikinis to flabby old ladies.
Baby strollers to foot walkers
Vivacious, and curvaceous to
Cheerless carcass!

Robust health to pills and wealth.
Eyesight 20/20 to "ain't" got any!
Self-consciousness to comfy
Shapely fanny to fat ole granny.

Pearly whites to false delights.
Early daylights to late twilights
Hair preener to hairless wonder
Broken hearts to surgery parts.

Baseball bats to canes and splats.
Pretty eyebrows to sagging chin jowls
No ills, to Dr. bills, and living wills
Teenage freckles to wrinkled wrinkles.

Pompadour hair to strange hair everywhere!
Regular attends to Godsend's depends
Vivid recall to "short-term" stonewall!
Lady's thighs lean, to cellulite supreme.

Perfect grades to hearing aids.
Easy sleep to sleep dismay.
Hopeful years, to bigger rears
Many fears to love endears.

To fifty years we say "farewell!"
Memories in our hearts will dwell
From young to old exchanged....
We're not old, just......rearranged!

From this......

50 years later
to this.....

Created by
Uh......
I can't remember
???????
June 24, 2005

"Little did we know how rapidly
50 years would disappear.
Fifty years of living memories, Oh, So Dear!
And.....Boy, am I glad to still be here!"

*smiles 50 years old!*

You are just as beautiful now as you were then. Don't let anyone tell you any differently either. The outside may have rearranged but so did the inside for the wiser, better and more caring. We all learn so much through aging. I have learned to just be thankful if I wake up each day and no big horrible event has happened while I was sleeping. Thank you for sharing this. It is brilliant, as we have all come to expect from you. Much love, Rita

Ah ConSue the above commenters have taken all the words out of my mouth.
Yes, indeed, you have increased in wisdom beauty and kindness with the passing years.
(beauty is in the soul) and is reflected in your countenance. Your great goodness and kindness just shines. out of its frame, so very artistically displayed.
God bless you ConSue and give you many more years to enrich the site and its viewers.
Should it be your birthday I wish to congratulate you with all my heart.
Blessings to you and thanks for caring so much.
To the greater Glory of God.
Warm love
Elizabeth

Dearest Connie..you are now as beautiful as you were then as young lady... By nature you are like an unfading golden lotus...Don't care those physical changes..at heart as I told you once you are a blessed lady. This poem is very beautiful and poignant with humour as well as wisdom of your age..hugs my dear sweet old beauty...your venkat
