Acid rain, baths my body
But you give me love

I waste the bright days and the dark nights
Saturating in pain, as I grow old
But you give me life

I rot in everything that is nothing and naught
Marred of blame, the only thing I am
But you are there everytime I am distraught

I am held in contempt by the sweet and sour demise of me
Knowing everything is to change, in the end
But you still are there loving me endlessly
. . .
As my life starts to fade away
I notice the dying flame, that burns free
The only thing I can say is
. . .
I love you
. . .
As death overcomes me

what an ending. it was amazing. very well put. if this poem has meaning in it, other than what i can see, than you will have to tell me tomorrow, because there simply is not time to see it now or hear of it. i think that this poem is very well written, but i would have liked a rhyme for the middle line every now and then, yet this rhyme format worked out fine as it is. i just like rhymes too much....::tries to restrain self:: you may wash what was on your hands, but you cannot wash it off your concious.
