(while close to night's bosom)
the secrets of creation

they are here
in the folds of my darkness
where shadows curl
and words cannot be heard

and I am still the spider
dangling from my web
searching for prey
in your eyes

I find that
which cannot sustain me

but I have spoken
with the Lady
she who is the moon
the mother
and the hunter

yes, that Demon Queen

and though I still taste wine
on your lips
your skin has slipped away
bringing silence

where shadows curl into tendrils
and words cannot be heard

She has told me
of the end

of your hand's acumen
I want here
and here

absolution
or some other finality
in which we all suffer
for the pleasure we create
and endure

in the dark

you're still looking
over the edge
wondering what part
of that abyss I have descended to

but truly
I have ascended
into my lightless vision

and find those erotic
fingers
that are my own
brushing softly at my night
(which is most exquisite, especially in shadow)

and for all this
the secrets She has taught me
and the void
in which I now breathe

I still whisper for you
waiting for your nectar
or some other divine drink

to breathe the life into me
and the darkness
out

That was really good, I looked it up since your note didn't finish it...la sombra
means the shadow... that's a really cool title. What pulled this interesting
style and flow together in my mind was the ending, so clear and gorgeous.

I'll now look out for your name when I'm on the site!

Brilliant powerful poem. It flows so languidly and spreads the shadows so well throughout. Marvelous piece of work.

very nice... and like the part:
and I am still the spider
dangling from my web
searching for prey
in your eyes..

Wow... So very much in this poem.
You have truly rendered me speechless.
You open with such vivid imagery and end with such tragically beautiful finality.
Your writing never ceases to astound and titilate.

Please keep them coming

Peace and Love,

Kayan
