Bring the curse of today
A forgotten life tied together in sorrow
But in truth, broken in every way

An act of depression
Ascends above my grave
This is my suicide note, in a poem, my obsession
In my life of only being betrayed

Leaving it all to some one else
As I slowly decay
Too many cuts were dealt
In my routine to remain the same

Now I say good bye
Two words I hate, for they create change
But My life was meant to die
For it only took time to become what I've became
. . .
Everything thats nothing
Within this smothered Flame

now this is what i would call brilliant in almost every aspect. you still did the grammar messup, lol. what is this? you go like 2 months without messing up like this and then it just happens twice in a week? come on clark, get with the brilliant living poets society =] also in a line you said my life was meant to die, i think it should have been and i was meant to die, or something instead, because that just seems to make it less awkward. besides those two things i loved this from your first line till the last. ::steals it for my collection:: =]]

A wonderfully written expression of pain. I
loved the title and the poem itself did not let
me down at all. I loved the first line as it drew
me right into the poem.

Clark this is a truly outstanding poem. Your talent and skill in writing just shines through this poem. You have the ability to convey your thoughts very well. A real touchy subject for I only know too well the pain and suffering of depression on an individual. Well done darls. 5 stars from me.....
love,
~sue~

This is... a multitude of things, really.

It's brilliant, thought-provoking, dark and mysterious-like, yet so sorrowful at the same time, and I agree, you've expressed yourself so well here Clark.

I dearly hope this is just for poetry's sake, and you don't really mean goodbye, or something that's passed, at least.

You have so many people that care about you awfully much (i'm somewhere on the top of that list :p) and want you to just hang around forever.
If you ever need to talk hun, you know where I be. (um... at school, granted, but i can fake a sickie and get on at the same time you do :D)

Portrayed your message very clearly here...
Loved it.

~Kt
(still your fan, trying to keep up though, argh :p)
